Of all revision surgeries, many board-certified plastic surgeons consider nose revision the hardest👃 Nose revision isn't simply a matter of operating again. Tissue that has fused together has to be carefully separated, and repeated surgeries often leave the skin without enough slack⚠️ In high-difficulty cases like a contracted nose, careful consultation and planning matter even more. A plastic surgeon explains why nose revision surgery is so difficult📖 ✔ Why it gets harder with every revision ✔ Why fused (adhered) tissue is risky ✔ Why contracted nose surgery is so tricky We've summed it all up in this video👀

If you ask which revision surgery is the most difficult, a lot of board-certified plastic surgeons will say nose revision. The reason is, to do a nose revision, you first have to open up the nose, and once you get inside, the tissue is so stuck together that it's hard to separate
in most cases. And the more surgeries you've had, it's not just that the tissue inside the nose is fused and turned into scar tissue. The skin also inevitably runs short on slack, so, as we often say, it just doesn't stretch well. There's a lot of bleeding during surgery, too...
With a contracted nose, it only makes sense to go to an experienced board-certified plastic surgeon for both your consultation and your surgery.
