Not all uneven breasts are uneven for the same reason👀 ✔ When the breasts sit at different heights ✔ When the sagging or breast shape is different ✔ When the two breasts are different sizes The surgical approach can vary depending on what's causing the difference. If the sizes differ, one option is to check with sizers during surgery and use a different implant size on each side. That said, the goal of breast surgery isn't to create perfect symmetry, but to reduce the difference that was already there. We explain in detail how uneven breasts are corrected.

Can uneven breasts be corrected? Our faces and bodies aren't perfectly symmetrical. When we talk about uneven breasts, usually there are cases where the breasts sit at different heights,
cases where the sagging or breast shape is different, and cases where the size is different. When the breasts sit at different heights, we can bring them to a similar height with an incision along the upper line.
When the shapes are different, we can match the shape by making the implant pocket a different size on each side. Or when the sizes are different, in the operating room we use a tool called a sizer to compare both sides, and then place a different size of implant on each side. In ways like that, it's possible to make the difference smaller than it is now.
But some patients, even though both sides look more alike after surgery, say the difference actually stands out more. Before surgery, hardly anyone looks closely at the shape of their own breasts, but after surgery, they look at them almost every day,
so even a slight difference can seem more noticeable. That's why in consultations, I go over the patient's physical features in detail and explain carefully that the goal of the surgery isn't to make both sides perfectly symmetrical, but to reduce the difference.
