This is a bit of a delicate topic, but when you come to a plastic surgery clinic and talk to us about your concerns, whether it's your face or your body, listening to you and making a diagnosis is, in itself, part of medical care, in my view. And because it's medical care, I believe there should be some kind of consultation fee.
Even if you go to a local internal medicine clinic and get seen for a cold for just 5 or 10 minutes, you're charged for it. With plastic surgery consultations, a consultation coordinator does a pre-consultation first, then there's the consultation with the director, and after the director's consultation, the coordinators do a follow-up consultation. A lot of clinics follow a process like that, and going through all those steps
usually takes anywhere from 20 or 30 minutes to over an hour. I think this is something where people's perception needs to change a bit.
