Now, it's not possible to have no pigment under the eyes at all, but there are two main reasons they can look a bit darker. First, the tiny blood vessels inside the fat
can show through a little, which makes dark circles look worse. Second, when I gently press here with a cotton swab, you can see the dark circles look a bit less severe. When there's a height difference between this puffy fat and the tear trough, a shadow is bound to form,
so those are the two reasons they look worse.
